Capt. Ed pretty much grew up on Siesta Key fishing these waters since the 70's.  As a kid, it was bay fishing in a 13' Whaler. Then, as a teen when offshore took precedence, he worked as a mate on Head boats during his summer vacations while in high school.

Since, Capt. Ed has 30 years of devotion following fish inshore and offshore. Lets talk about offshore.... Capt. Ed has a black book to die for which includes illustrations, maps and grids. Over 1000 fishing spots from the coast to 90 miles offshore. Scuba diving most of his spots gives great knowledge on how to fish them.  After running several big charter boats in the area for years ,it was time to break out on his own in a smaller yet faster and more economical boat, but also very comfy. All this in mind to keep prices down.

Capt. Ed writes for Gaff Magazine and is featured quite often. Also co-hosts Gaff TV fishing episodes and has provided many fishing trips/ photo shoots aboard FishFactor with the Gaff Girls.
